Sorry to do this to you folks. But it won't be a fast transition.
This account's name is long since outdated and deviated from my interests. I feel it's best to start over from scratch. The new account, where I'll be posting from here on in, is ~dragonfyredawn (https://www.deviantart.com/dragonfyredawn)
The new account will be used for more than I used this one for - not only costumes, but normal art as well.
I still plan on keeping this account solely for watching people. I've got far too big a list to warrant trying to transfer that over.

Regarding the faun costume

I've had a sudden increase in the amount of questions regarding my faun costume lately, particularly along the lines of "how'd you do that because I want to make a faun costume too!" or "can you make me those?!". Hopefully this will clarify some things.
I do not and never will sell faun boot commissions using this design and you'll find me very tight-lipped on how I made them - the only folk who will ever see the inner workings are friends who happen to be nearby when I'm putting them on. Bit of an update

I just want to apologise to everybody for the lack of activity lately. I haven't had much time for art, period, as of late. College film work is taking up the vast majority of my time, and when I do have time to do art for myself, I lean more toward my own thing (which I choose not to post) rather than fanart (which I would post).
I do have a few things that I'll be posting in the somewhat near future though. Currently I'm working on a couple partial critter costumes that I'm making with the intent to sell so I can hopefully get the money together to make it to Dragon*Con. One costume's a cat, the other's a rabbit. Also, I might upload

Um, If I made a faun costume based loosely on your design, would you mind? I'm not gonna sell it and I have ideas on a safer hoof design but I was worried that you might think I stole your idea. I was inspired is all, and I'd be happy to share ideas (even though I'm a newb at all this

However I completely understand though. The company I'm representing on DA (Foxmoon Productions) makes swimable mermaid/merman tails and they also have a complete worry about someone drowning.
Me and my girlfriend were discussing for awhile in going as a fairy/satyr couple for awhile but I don't know how to make ANY kind of costume. If you have any sites or info for help I would appreciate it. Sorry if I'm being a bother but you do some amazing work!
